These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of jav.chat (the "Site"). By entering the Site you confirm that you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, leave the Site.

1. Adults only (18+)

The Site is an adult-oriented directory and is strictly limited to adults. You may use the Site only if you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if that age is higher.

By using the Site you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement, that you are accessing the Site voluntarily, and that adult material is legal in the place you are accessing it from. Minors are not permitted under any circumstances.

2. What JAV.CHAT is

JAV.CHAT is an index and discovery service for Japanese Adult Video (JAV) releases. It publishes catalogue metadata — release codes, titles, performer names, studio names, genres, release dates, cover artwork and promotional thumbnails — and links to third-party sites that host or sell the corresponding material.

JAV.CHAT does not produce, film, edit, upload or host adult video content. Metadata and promotional imagery are ingested from public catalogues, studio feeds and licensed affiliate feeds supplied by the rights holders or their authorised distributors.

Playback, purchases, memberships and downloads happen on third-party websites that we do not own or control. Those sites have their own terms, privacy policies and billing practices, and you are responsible for reviewing them.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; scrape, crawl or harvest the Site at a rate that degrades service for others; circumvent, disable or interfere with security or rate-limiting features; upload or transmit malware; resell or systematically reproduce the Site database; or use the Site to harass, defame or infringe the rights of any person.

You agree not to submit false, abusive or fraudulent reports through any form on the Site, including the copyright notice form.

We may block, rate-limit or permanently restrict access to any visitor, IP range or automated agent that breaches these Terms, without notice.

4. Intellectual property

The Site layout, design, original editorial text, and the compilation and arrangement of the catalogue are owned by the operator of JAV.CHAT and are protected by copyright and database rights.

All trademarks, studio names, series names, cover artwork and performer likenesses remain the property of their respective owners. They are used on the Site for identification, indexing and editorial reference only, and no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, follow the procedure on our DMCA / Copyright page. Notices are processed promptly.

5. Third-party links, advertising and affiliate relationships

The Site displays advertising and contains links to third-party websites, including links placed under affiliate programmes. If you click such a link and later subscribe or purchase, the operator of JAV.CHAT may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

Advertising is served by third-party advertising networks. We do not control which specific creatives those networks deliver in real time, and the presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, billing practices, or privacy practices of any third-party site. Linking does not create any partnership, agency or joint venture between JAV.CHAT and the linked site.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Catalogue metadata is aggregated automatically and may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of JAV.CHAT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any third-party site reached from it.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, it is limited to the greatest extent that law permits.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of JAV.CHAT against any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
