Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information JAV.CHAT (the "Site") collects, why, and what you can do about it.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
The only form on the Site is the notice form on our DMCA & Copyright page. What you enter there — your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, the rights holder you represent and the body of your notice — is stored so that we can act on the notice and keep a record of it. Copyright law requires that a notice identify its sender, so this form cannot be used anonymously.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs and abuse controls. Your IP address is processed to rate-limit form submissions and to protect the Site from abuse.
- Aggregate usage counters. We keep non-identifying counts of page views, searches and outbound clicks so we can see what is popular. These are totals, not profiles, and are not linked to you.
- Google Analytics 4. The Site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects usage data including a truncated IP address, in order to produce audience statistics. See Google's privacy policy.
- Local storage. Your confirmation of the age gate is stored in your own browser so that you are not asked on every page. It is not sent to us.
Information collected by third parties
The Site displays advertising supplied by Adsterra and links to third-party platforms and affiliate programmes. Those parties may set their own cookies and collect their own data about your device and browsing, under their own privacy policies, over which we have no control. Review the policy of any destination site before using it.
2. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for or store payment details — any transaction takes place on a third-party platform, not here.
3. Legal basis and retention
Where the GDPR applies, we process form submissions on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to legal notices and in defending legal claims, and abuse-control data on the basis of our legitimate interest in the security of the Site. Analytics cookies are set on the basis of consent where that is required.
Notices submitted through the form are retained for three years so that we can evidence how a complaint was handled and enforce our repeat-infringer policy. Rate-limit records are discarded after one hour. Aggregate counters are kept for up to 30 days.
4. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, use the form on the DMCA & Copyright page and select "Personal data / right of publicity". We will need enough information to locate your records and to satisfy ourselves of your identity.
5. Cookies
The Site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Cookies present on the Site come from Google Analytics and from the advertising networks named above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will continue to work, though the age gate will ask you again on each visit.
6. Children
The Site is for adults only and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. See our 18 U.S.C. 2257 statement.
7. International transfers
The Site is operated from the European Union. The third-party services named above may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States, under their own transfer safeguards.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change when we do.
9. Contact
Privacy enquiries should be sent through the form on our DMCA & Copyright page.
