Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information jav.chat (the "Site") collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run and measure the Site.

1. No accounts, no adult-content profiles

The Site has no user registration, no login and no user profiles. We do not ask for your name, postal address, date of birth or payment details, and we never ask you to upload identity documents.

The only situation in which we collect identifying details is when you voluntarily submit a copyright notice or a content-removal request, because the law requires those notices to identify the sender.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers and our reverse proxy record standard request data: IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, requested URL, timestamp, response status and approximate country derived from the IP address.

We also record aggregated, non-identifying usage signals — page views per URL, search terms entered into the on-site search box, outbound click counts, and time-on-page buckets — to understand which parts of the catalogue are useful.

These signals are stored in aggregate counters. We do not build advertising profiles from them and we do not sell them.

3. Cookies, local storage and similar technologies

We store a small flag in your browser when you confirm you are 18 or older, so the age notice is not shown on every page. This is a strictly functional item and is not used for tracking.

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) sets analytics cookies to measure traffic. Advertising networks used on the Site, including Adsterra, and the affiliate networks whose offers we link to, may set their own cookies or identifiers when their creatives load or when you click an advertisement.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use private browsing, or install a content blocker. Blocking third-party cookies does not break the Site.

4. Third-party processors and recipients

Analytics: Google Analytics 4 — traffic measurement, subject to Google’s privacy policy and data-retention controls.

Advertising: Adsterra and comparable advertising networks — ad delivery, frequency capping and fraud prevention.

Affiliate networks: when you click an outbound offer link, the destination network receives your IP address, user-agent and the referring page in order to attribute the click. Those networks act as independent controllers of that data.

Hosting and infrastructure: our server provider processes request logs on our behalf.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except as described here or where required by law.

5. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for server logs, security, fraud prevention and aggregate audience measurement; consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) where consent is required for non-essential cookies in your jurisdiction; and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) for processing and retaining copyright notices.

6. Retention

Raw request logs are retained for a short operational period and are then rotated or discarded. Aggregate counters contain no personal data and may be kept indefinitely.

Copyright notices, counter-notices and removal requests are retained for as long as necessary to document our response, to comply with the DMCA repeat-infringer requirements, and to defend against legal claims.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. Residents of California and similar jurisdictions may have the right to know and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell or share personal information.

To exercise a right, write to dmca@jav.chat from the address concerned and describe your request. We respond within the period required by applicable law, normally within 30 days. Because the Site holds no accounts, we may be unable to identify data relating to a visitor who has not contacted us before.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and it will be deleted.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
